Red Jacket great Chief of the Seneca People

I find Red Jackets story most intriguing.  A man that found his voice amongst the "White" man.  

He spoke in front of the U.S. senate in 1805.  The speech was titled “Religion for the White Man and the Red”

Who are the Seneca People and where are they from?

They made their home in old times in the now present day area called Genesse River region & the Lake Canadaigua.
