What books to use in French Quebec Research

On my very first trip to the Manchester French Canadian Genealogy Society (not really sure of the name).  I found this french Families of Quebec Dictionary
Which list all the French families that arrived in Quebec from 16?? early up to 1730.  About 100 years.  The longer your family was there more generations are listed in the Dictionnaire Genealogique des familles du Quebec.
However this book is written in French. However not to had to use.  There are guides in the beginning pages that let you know the symbols for the Birth Marriage & death dates.  As well when they arrived in New France.

New France, French of Quebec, French Families, Ancestors, Ancestors Origins, Family History, Family Lore, Rene Jette,

Then for all in English research.
Finding the book with your Ancestor is your first task.  Then you can read a delightful story about them in this series.
