Flintshire Northeast Wales has a little secret in it. Some would say it is not little since it as big as a Castle! Are you familiar with Flint, Michigan or Flintshire, Wales?

I grew up in the beautiful state of Michigan. I enjoy highlighting it. I do not have know Ancestors that are from Flintshire, Wales.
However Flint, MI was the major City close by.
I thought it will be great fun to highlight Flint Castle on my blog. I hope you enjoyed!

Maybe your Family came from Flintshire.
They may of even taken on the name of Flint as their family name. Which could be alot of diffrent families.
So you might not be blood related to all the other folks with the name of Flint

just to let you know it's the town of Flint (Fflint in Welsh) in the county of Flintshire (Sir y Fflint in Welsh )
Run down castle from around 1277, the photos make it look "more", you could explore it in its entirety in 15 minutes, including a rest stop.
